V. Installation and commissioning points

  • Tilt Adjustment: 30-45° typical for most applications, adjusted by tilt adjustment screws on both sides
  • Avoid blocking: No protruding objects such as fans, plants, flags, etc. in the detection area
  • away from interference sources: Avoid installation near sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as fluorescent lamps, HID lamps, etc.
  • Wide detection mode: For installation heights below 4 metres, it is recommended to install the supplied wide detection mode fixture

VI. Common Problems and Solutions

❓ Separation of people and vehicles not working as expected

✅ Check that the installation height is ≥ 3 metres, ensure that the sensor is mounted centrally above the door, and check that the wide detection mode is set correctly.

❓ Door opens abnormally without vehicles/persons

✅ It may be caused by electromagnetic interference, it is recommended to activate the interference filter function or move the sensor away from sources of interference such as fluorescent lamps and inverters.

❓ Delayed or insensitive personnel detection

✅ Reduced installation height (recommended ≤ 5 metres) and increased protection area/sensitivity settings.

❓ False trigger of the sensor when the door is closed

✅ Adjust the sensor tilt angle so that the detection area is away from the door; or reduce the protection area/sensitivity appropriately.
